Chris Zylka Interview

Here is an excerpt:
Chris Zylka has a formula for making it in Hollywood. Sitting on the balcony of the Presidential Suite at the Beverly Hilton — a balcony so big that when he first went outside, he mistakenly thought it must be communal — the former model tugs at his knit cap, surveys the impressive view, takes a drag from his American Spirit, and says, “The first step is to try not to be homeless.”
Coming from Zylka, 26, it sounds like a joke, since he’s moving to Vancouver to start a regular gig on The Secret Circle, the CW’s show about a group of terribly attractive witches, and will flash his toothy grin on screens later this year as Peter Parker’s nemesis, Flash Thompson, in The Amazing Spider-Man reboot. Surely his all-American good looks and easy charm opened doors for him when he first hauled to L.A., right? Not quite.

Here are four things to look out for in future episodes:
Trust Issues: “My character is trying to win everyone’s trust back. That’s not going to be an easy thing to go back. ‘I tried to kill all of you, so forgive me,’ ” Zylka offers. Aside from trying to right previous wrongs with the circle, Jake will have his hands full with the leader of the witch hunters. “Jake’s pushing Isaac away as far as possible but Isaac leads him back him. His mind is racing on who he trusts and who he believes.”

In Thursday night’s all-new episode, entitled “Return” (9 p.m. EST on The CW), Cassie’s thought-to-be-dead evil father, John Blackwell, shows up on her doorstep asking for the medallion she found in the wreckage of the fire that killed their parents.
“Everyone is after her at this point,” star Chris Zylka told HuffPost TV. “She’s starting to lose control of some of her dark powers, and that gets her into a little bit of trouble with the return of Mr. Blackwell.”
